I haven't written poetry in a long time. Part of the reason has been a fear that I'm not doing it "right" or that someone who is a "real" poet might see them and not only laugh at me, but become highly offended that I would have the audacity to hijack the form and execute it so poorly.
Sound dramatic? My younger self is clearly still with me.
This morning, I discovered the idea of six word poems and the idea seemed simple enough that I was tempted to try. This is a creative CHALLENGE week after all, and a little outside-your-comfort-zone stretch is good for muscles, no?
